Although I don’t own a 100+ unit apartment complex, there is going to be a lot of detailed context for the beginners. With that being said, I keep an open mind to other’s opinions. Quick Summary
The first property I bought was a Single Family Home (3/1+1/2). It was bought with a USDA loan (0% down). I bought the property for $84K in 2015. I paid approximately $4K for closing cost fees, home inspection, and insect inspection. Let’s call this property Seminole.
After a long time of researching, educating, and networking, I decided to get serious about REI (Real Estate Investing). This led me to my next buy, which was my duplex (2-unit property). This property was bought at $125K with an FHA loan (3.5% down). I paid roughly $11K in total for closing cost fees, down payment, home inspection, and insect inspection. Let’s call this property Sumter.
